Events other than friday?

This post is actually to add two related polls.

 

Would you be interested in having shorter but more frequent events? I was thinking about having events all weekdays from 17h30 to 18h30. (The time should accomodate everyone).

Or would you rather have two "long" events a week? If so, which weekday would you like most? (Yes, we are considering doing events on Saturdays or Sundays, but at the moment we are exploring what can be done during normal office hours, for cost reasons)

the hardest part for me is trying to work out the time changes for one time zone to another.

I voted for longer events twice a week. I think that if you were to have events every week day would result in less turn out as they would not be that special anymore. Also, if the end time would be extended I could probably remember to go as it would not be imediately after school.

I'd prefer a longer one every two weeks, and on a Saturday maybe...even though I'm pretty much busy on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. :P

Yes, week-ends are not as good a time as you'd think. Most of us all have other things to do then.

I'm seeing the definite incline for 2 two-hour-long events twice a week rather than 5 hour-long events all week long; I'll will try and work around this, although I would like to confirm this incline with as many players as possible.

Long events work better, because the mods will have time to work things out. It also gives people more time to meet and talk.

I agree, but since the Advent is special, I wanted to try this like that. Maybe we'll keep the daily schedule solely for Christmas and move to a twice-weekly hte rest of the year.

Wait and see! ;)

saturdays won't work for me. I have math class from 3-5 p.m eastern stantard time and usually after that I have to go to my grandparents' house and eat dinner with my relatives. by the time I get back it's around 8-9 p.m. For my Fridays and Sundays are perfect but saturdays are ok as long as I don't have to go to my grandparents' house.

this year fridays work for me cuz i get out at 1pm on friday so i make it to the events all the timees :))
