I have heard someone say that it would be nice to have some player mods, and I heard that player mods would be needed in the future. Fi's, what would it take to be a player mod, if you need any?

Nice question, Phazon, and I have thus made it into a sticky

Fis are strictly, at the moment, employees of Frima whose main job is not moderation, but who are doing this as part of their other daily tasks.

That is to say, you have first to be legally an adult, so you can be hired; secondly, you have to have skills relevant to working in the video game industry.

There are a large number of jobs needed to create a video game, and thus a large number of ways to get the necessary skills: art, animation, project management, game design, level design, code, server management, story design, communication on both viral and official scales, quality assurance, etc.. The best way to know which skills are needed and which jobs are opened is to check sites like gamesindustry.biz/jobs

And yes, the idea of player mods has been proposed and we also considered the possibility of employees working full time on this; but we feel neither of these options would be to the best interests of the players at the moment.

As soon as registrations pick up significantly enought to warrant hiring player mods, we'll post here the qualifications needed.

Please don't hesitate in the meantime, to report abuses or bugs, it does help us.

Fi's!!!!

My friend neoman (hard to beleive eh?) reported to me that there is a hacker with him but don't worry. Phason is now a lawyer and will take care of it but he needs support from you.

This is a game, and as I have said, we will not have player mods at the moment.

On the other hand, if some people want to help pinpoint issues and do not harass others doing so - well it can help us.

The golden rule here is simple:  as long as someone do not trouble other players, they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Still, you gave him the seeds, you accepted the trade. He may have promised you something, but you knew he had not the gear.

The fact that he had not the gear on him should have warned you, as there is no bank or chest in the game: all the items of one person are carry by them.

While what he did is reprehensible, there is not much I can: he did not hack the code or exploit any bugs, and you're partly responsible for what happened.

As for Fi_Poison_Ivy, he was traveling, checking the GalaXseeds space when he was swallowed by The Big Rip... No one knows where he has ended.

So what is the problem there?

As long as this Fi did not act strangely, it is safe to think it is just a member of the team checking something in game or simply wanting to meet Seedizens.
