- We value your child's privacy – Frima Studio Inc., ("FRIMA") is committed to following all rules, policies and laws related to the collection of data and protecting the privacy of children and adults, and adhering strictly to our policy on information collection.
- We value your trust - FRIMA will not give, trade, sell or otherwise distribute the personal information you provide us.
- We value your online experience - To make your experience with us better and better, FRIMA reserves the right to analyze and summarize data that we collect. At times, we will share summaries of NON-PERSONAL data (e.g. percentage of girls vs. percentage of boys registered on our site) with sponsors or other business partners. We will never provide any specific or personally identifying information about an individual in any of these reports.
- We value your time - We believe that your child's registration should be easy and painless and access to, and the enjoyment of, any FRIMA web site, we feel is valuable in return.
- We encourage you to stay involved - FRIMA encourages you, the adult, to check and monitor your child's online activities. Described in this policy is more information about the tools we provide to make it easy for you to do so.
We have created this policy to explain why we ask for certain information when your child becomes a member, the types of information we gather both from your child and from you, how it is used and how you or your child can change or delete the information.
How and What Information We Collect
When a child signs up to play a game at GalaXseeds.com or Neoshifters.com, we ask them to register on The Big Rip and we request the following information:
- His or her gender
- Birth date
- Email Address
- Country
- State/ Province
- Username
- Password
- Parent's email address
- Answers to surveys, polls or questionnaires
Registration of children under 13 is not processed until parents provide consent. We do not condition a child under 13's participation in an activity on his or her disclosing more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity.
Why Do We Collect Personal Information and How Do We Use It?
At The Big Rip we have created lots of fun activities that do not require you or your child to provide any personal information at all. But by becoming a member of The Big Rip and providing basic information to us, you or your child can play games on TheBigRip.com under his or her username, post messages and content on our pre-moderated internet forums, communicate with other members using our moderated chat and interactive forum features, use interactive features on our Site including existing or future games and other interactive features we may offer, elect to receive The Big Rip email newsletters (which include special announcements about our games), and enter our online contests as well as be notified if they are a contest winner (note: declarations and releases must be signed by a parent or guardian of the declared winner prior to FRIMA awarding or releasing the prize). Parents information is collected in order to obtain your permission for children under 13 to become a member. As a member of The Big Rip your child will have an opportunity to interact with branded content or games. This could be something as small as a branded in-game item or even something bigger like a sponsored game or website. We will make every effort to label advertising clearly.
Personal identifiable information collected from our members will be used as described in this policy, on our website, or otherwise to process the requests you submit to us (such as a request to become a member). In certain limited circumstances FRIMA shares personally identifiable information with third parties, namely if we believe we are legally obligated to disclose information to the government or third parties, where we are working with a vendor or business associate who is performing functions on our behalf (under contract to us, and using the information to fulfill obligations under that contract), and with other FRIMA entities (who will use information subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy).
We use non-personal information - like gender, birth date, country and state/province - to customize our site for our users. Sometimes we may share aggregate, non-personal information with our partners or advertisers (i.e. 20% of our members are girls from Chicago), however specific members are never identified. Email address, Username and password are required to create and maintain a membership. We collect the parent's email address for the purpose of obtaining parental consent and to communicate with the parent or guardian about the child's membership.
Sometimes we ask visitors to our websites to give their opinions by answering questionnaires, polls or surveys. Visitors do not have to be a member in order to participate and we collect non-personally identifiable information. If a registered member is logged in and decides to take a survey or answer a questionnaire or poll, the information collected is not linked back to their personal membership information. Sometimes we may offer members that complete a survey a free in-game item or bonus within the game. In this circumstance, the survey responses are not linked with a member's personal information, nor do we store answers with the members' user profile in our system.
How To Review Your Child's Information:
If your child submits his/her information to our site for membership and contest entry purposes, and is under the age of 13, an email permission form is sent to the parent's email address. Through this email, parents can review the information being collected from the child, and approve of our collection of the information for membership or have this information removed from our database. You may refuse to permit future collection or use of your child's information through the following process:

Passive Data Collection
Cookies are small data files that your browser may place on your computer when you visit different websites to mark that you have been there. FRIMA only views the cookies that are set by our site and they do not provide us with any personal identifying information. These cookies help us collect aggregate data about the number of visitors to our site, how long they stay, what features and website activities are most often used. Cookies also help us determine general information about the types of computers, browsers and operating systems that are used to view our site - so that we can make sure that the technology we use to create our features can be viewed by our users. You may choose to set up your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are sent - but if you don't have a FRIMA cookie, it may limit our ability to customize and improve our features.
Links to Other Sites
It is important to note that TheBigRip.com contains links to sites or advertisements for sites outside FRIMA and beyond the control of FRIMA. These third party sites may not follow the same privacy policies as we do. They may also send their own cookies to your computer and collect data and make use of it in ways that FRIMA would not. Our site features a "bumper page" when linking to an advertisers' site to remind your child not to give out any personal information without checking first with a parent or guardian. FRIMA cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and we must therefore advise that you do so at your own risk. We provide a notification when you are leaving the TheBigRip.com site and provide a reminder that you are entering an unrelated third party website.
How We Protect Personal Information
FRIMA has established appropriate electronic, physical, contractual and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online to prevent unauthorized access, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the correct use of information. Any personal identifiable info collected from our members is for The Big Rip purposes only (e.g. membership verification, contest fulfillment, etc.). We will never sell or give any of this information to third parties. We use non-personal information - like gender, birth date, and country - to customize our site for our users. Sometimes we may share aggregate, non-personal information with our partners or advertisers (i.e. 20% of our members are boys from Toronto) but specific members are never identified.
